Jake is an Emmy® award winning documentary filmmaker and President of Mainspring Narrative Films. The author of Andrew Geller: Deconstructed (2015, Glitterati, Inc.), Jake has also been a contributing writer to The Architect’s Newspaper, VOX Hamptons, HOME Miami, Modern, and Modernism magazines.
Tracey is Vice President and Co-Producer at Mainspring, doing research and conducting interviews for the films. She has also served as editor for the books Andrew Geller: Deconstructed and the upcoming Leisurama: Vacation Homes for the Average American as well as numerous magazine and newspaper articles.
Kaarsten and andrea harris
Kaarsten and Andrea Harris are New York-based cinematographers and filmmakers who specialize in enhancing compelling narratives with evocative and beautiful visuals. Kaarsten is a Cinematographer for the Frey documentary series (2018-20, Design Onscreen), as well as for the Mainspring Narrative films in production. He is also an FAA-licensed drone pilot who documents buildings and landscapes around world for our projects and others. Kaarsten and Andrea are also actively researching future topics for Mainspring Narrative Films. Kaarsten’s prolific work as a photographer and cinematographer has been widely published in magazines, notable websites, news agencies, and media blogs via contract work and stock footage.
Erik Glass
Erik brings his talent and experience, working as both an industrial engineer and an architectural draftsman, which contributes greatly to our projects. He is a long-time aficionado of architecture, from classic to midcentury modern. He has applied his creative eye to cinematography and design, serving as part of the camera team on Frey: Part 1 – The Architectural Envoy (Design Onscreen, 2018), as well as years of volunteer audio-visual and art production work for JW Studios LLC. He is also a skilled public speaker and serves as an excellent proponent for Mainspring Narrative Films.
